Cost & financing
How much does a new deck cost in Metro Atlanta?
It depends on size, height, materials and whether it's covered. Our projects generally start around $40,000. Recent featured builds ran $130,000 to $178,000; simpler uncovered decks cost less. You get a solid quote at the site visit.
Is there a minimum project size?
Our projects generally start around $40,000. That lets us give every build the design time, materials and attention it deserves.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available through our lending partner, Lyon Financial. You can review current options on their site before or after your consultation.
Do I get a quote before I commit?
You get a solid quote at the site visit. It's itemized, so you can see where the money goes, and any changes are handled with written change orders.
Permits & timeline
Do I need a permit to build a deck in Georgia?
Most new decks, porches and sunrooms need a building permit. We pull permits in our company's name and handle inspections. Drawings are prepared as part of the permitting process.
Are permit fees included?
Permit fees are included in the cost of your deposit.
How long does permitting take?
Permitting can take as little as one month, usually takes 2–4 months, and can sometimes take longer.
When can construction start?
After the permit is approved, we'll be able to look at our current workload and start planning a start date.
Can you guarantee a finish date?
Start and completion dates cannot be guaranteed; permitting, workload, weather and site conditions can affect the schedule.
Do you handle my HOA approval?
You handle your HOA approval; we provide the drawings and project information you need for your application.

What do you build?
New decks, screen rooms (three-season rooms), sunrooms (four-season rooms), and patios or porches on decking, concrete slabs or concrete pavers — designed around how you'll use the space.
Is a three-season room the same as a screen room?
A three-season room is a screen room. A four-season room is a sunroom — an insulated, heated and cooled addition.
What is the difference between a patio and a porch?
Patio and porch are two names for the same outdoor space. The surface makes the difference: decking, a concrete slab or concrete pavers. A roof and screens are separate design choices.
Do you repair or add onto existing decks?
We focus exclusively on new builds — decks, screen rooms and sunrooms — and do not repair or add onto existing structures.
Which decking brands do you use?
We offer TimberTech and Trex PVC and composite decking.
PVC or composite — which is better?
Both are low-maintenance and long-lasting. PVC is fully synthetic and very moisture-resistant; capped composite blends wood fibers and plastic for a natural look. We walk you through the tradeoffs at your site visit.
What is the deck framing made of?
Framing options include pressure-treated wood, steel and TimberTech aluminum framing, selected to suit the project.

How long is your workmanship warranty?
Our workmanship warranty is 10 years on PVC, composite and roofed projects, and 5 years on pressure-treated wood work.
What about the manufacturer's warranty?
Manufacturer warranties on PVC and composite decking range from 25 to 50 years, depending on the product selected. Coverage, care requirements and exclusions depend on the selected product.
When does my warranty start?
Warranty terms are in your signed contract. You have the warranty as soon as you approve the quote and pay your deposit, not in a separate document handed over at completion.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold Georgia General Contractor Company licence GCCO008190 and carry $1M in liability insurance. Quality is checked through third-party inspections and code approval.
